A new style of hot chicken

Richard’s Southern Fried is located in Krog Street Market in the historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta. The food hall is known for culinary innovation; with Richard’s as the first casual, counter-service restaurant serving a new style of hot chicken and Southern sides.

Chef Todd Richards grew up watching his neighbor fry chicken frequently and kept her technique in his memory. Decades later, he perfected the recipe, and began serving the masses.

Custom lighting above menu boards light up the options for the classic fried chicken: classic, hot, and Richard’s hot.

The countertop service is designed for a quick grab-and-go style of ordering, while there are a few stools for those who wish to enjoy their Nashville-inspired meal at Richard’s.
